We first and foremost shoot digital photography. It allows us to capture more, provides reliability, versatility and is the most cost-effective way to shoot. It’s quick and ensures we capture those spontaneous and candid moments. We offer a mixture of natural light and flash, candid and posed.

Marigold specialises in film photography. We use 35mm film for fast-paced, candid moments, bringing a sense of nostalgia, warmth and a timeless aesthetic.
In addition, we offer premium Medium Format (120mm film) photography for refined portraits that exude elegance and luxury. Medium format photography is known for its exceptional image quality, detail, and smoother tonal transitions. As medium format cameras are a little slower and more intentional, we use them for premium and exclusive portrait photography with a luxurious aesthetic.

Super 8 film is renowned for its nostalgic, cinematic aesthetic, characterised by its grainy texture, soft focus, and warm colour tones. It has a distinctive charm, often evoking a dreamlike, retro vibe. Super 8 is perfect for storytelling, and will capture your day with a sense of intimacy and whimsy. See previous example here.
